Coco Chanel and the LBD

“Women think about all colors except the absence of color. I have already said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute.” -Coco Chanel

The little black dress (LBD). Every woman’s go-to outfit choice, or at least it should be! Let’s break it down into 3 parts:

1. Little = sexy. (Be careful, there is a fine line. Little can be too little).

2. Black = every woman looks amazing. A color that goes with any accessory, any style.

3. Dress = feminine, flirty and easy to throw on.

Coco Chanel helped immortalize the LBD as a fashion staple for women. Today, the LBD can be transformed from a cocktail dress to career outfit to a girls-night-out ensemble. There is no better interchangeable piece of clothing. Compliment Closet LBD IDEA: even the fanciest of LBDs can be worth the investment. Have a work holiday party but hate the idea of purchasing a new dress for one night? Worry no more! Buy the LBD with most sequins, most bling! Make it work for Monday’s meeting by throwing on a black blazer and patent leather pumps. Going clubbing on Friday? Switch the black blazer for a leather bomber jacket and studded heels.

Ladies, if you don’t have an LBD it is a necessity now! A purchase worth every penny. It will never go out of style.

Thank you Coco!
